It’s no secret that both health care delivery and financing are changing. Uncertainty around federal and state financing for key health programs, as well as advances in science, technology and information management make for a dynamic yet highly challenging environment.

Addressing these issues provides us with the opportunity to find the best solutions for our patients and communities. But it will not be easy. Many of the traditional processes, methods and techniques that existed for years under a fee-for-service health system will not survive the move to a more value-based care delivery and financing model.
