It’s no secret that both health care delivery and financing are changing. Uncertainty around federal and state financing for key health programs, as well as advances in science, technology and information management make for a dynamic yet highly challenging environment.

Addressing these issues provides us with the opportunity to find the best solutions for our patients and communities. But it will not be easy. Many of the traditional processes, methods and techniques that existed for years under a fee-for-service health system will not survive the move to a more value-based care delivery and financing model. New and innovative solutions are needed as the field makes the leap to value-based care and advances health across America.

To assist you, the American Hospital Association (AHA) has created a suite of innovation-focused offerings to help you develop, test and refine new ideas.

Innovation Leadership Challenge

Pre-conference event at AHA Leadership Summit

JULY 25, 2018 | SAN DIEGO, CA.

There are 100s of process improvements for flow, but only a handful actually work to fix problems associated with an apparent lack of sufficient inpatient beds. Before you launch another initiative or hire another consultant, learn about the processes that work (and those that don’t), with practical advice from hospital and health system experts with first-hand experience.
Join the leaders in hospital flow at the Innovation Leadership Challenge: Collaborating to Improve Hospital Flow, Save Lives and Reduce Costs on July 25. This pre-conference event at the AHA Leadership Summit will focus on the true “home runs” of flow improvement, with real life examples and practical advice.
