Linda Kosnik, RN, MSN
Linda Kosnik, RN, MSN, has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry and more than 15 years experience with demand and capacity management and flow. Prior to joining Vistaar Healthcare as CNO and VP Clinical Services, she served as the Chief Nursing Officer for Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ.
Linda has lectured nationally and has published extensively on quality improvement and process and performance management as applied to healthcare. Ms. Kosnik has consulted both national and internationally on the use of crew resource management, teambuilding, collaboration, customer satisfaction, recruitment and retention and the reduction of waits and delays. She is a national expert on the topic of the reduction of ED overcrowding as well as in the overarching domain of improving patient flow in hospitals, especially as it relates to demand and capacity management.
Through the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), JCAHO, IOM, IQPC and other forums, Ms. Kosnik has successfully mentored hundreds of teams through improvement initiatives.
