The Importance of Improving the Health of Health Care Professionals

  • Event Date:
  • Event Time: Noon Central

The research is clear that healthy employees come to work more often, are more productive and ultimately spend less on health care. It seems intuitive that those working in the health care field would enjoy above-average health, but that is not always the case. Like most Americans, health care workers are often challenged by obesity/overweight, stress, physical inactivity, sleep issues and out-of-range biometrics. Effectively addressing these issues makes sense for everyone; the employee and their families, patients and the employer.

In this energetic, fast-moving presentation, you will learn about proven solutions that will measurably improve both the health and culture of your organization. Find out how health care systems like Genesis Health System, Mercy Health, Baylor Scott & White, and more are reversing the trends that many believed to be inevitable.

Attendees Will Learn:

  • Proven solutions to measurably improve the health and culture of their organization.
  • How health care organizations across the country are reversing health trends that many believe are inevitable.
  • Why addressing the health of health care employees should be a top priority for health care organizations.
