Featuring insights from client health data to demonstrate effectiveness

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains the leading cause of death in the United States carrying an estimated cost of $351.2 billion. Employers are taking on more of this burden and costs are expected to top $15,000 per employee in 2020.

Health care strategies to address CVD and diabetes risk by improving lifestyle are becoming an integral part of workforce strategy. Health coaching interventions that focus on physical activity, dietary interventions, and behavior change science can significantly improve these health risks

In this webinar, Jane Ruppert, RDN, LDN, CDE, will discuss why health coaching programs should be an integral part of your employee wellness program.  She will share insights from aggregate health data demonstrating statistically significant improvement in CVD risk factors for employees engaged in health coaching. Attendees Will Learn:

  • The prevalence of CVD and diabetes risk including the economic burden.
  • The lifestyle intervention strategies that are most effective in reducing CVD risk.
  • Why health coaching programs should be an integral part of an employee wellness program.
  • Real-life insights gathered from an Interactive Health client who is incorporating health coaching strategies into their wellness program and seeing good results.
