Children’s hospitals provide much-needed care to society’s most vulnerable member – its children. This important work comes with its own set of challenges – even more so when the patients or their parents are limited-English proficient. When you care for a child, you’re also caring for the family as a whole.

In this webinar, you’ll hear from language services professionals at leading children’s hospitals focused on clear communication between health care providers and patients’ families. Caring for these patients means overcoming language barriers and cultural differences to achieve success and secure the best possible outcomes.

What You Will Learn:

  • The challenges unique to providing quality care to children and families with limited-English proficiency.
  • Innovative solutions to overcoming the language barrier and successfully reaching disadvantaged populations.
  • Partnerships available to help hospitals expand their reach and number of available languages.
