In this webinar, he will discuss the proven tools and processes employed in the AHA Innovation 90 program to tackle real-world health care challenges and produce innovative solutions ready for implementation in 90 days.

Kurt Baumberger teaches innovation and entrepreneurship at Duke University.

He has written two books on innovation based on his 30 years of experience launching everything from Advil to PowerAde to iPhone Apps to Tesla. His latest book, Innovation Navigation, helps complex organizations strip risk out of innovation while accelerating adoption.

He started his career on Madison Avenue, and spent a decade at The Coca-Cola Company before becoming a serial entrepreneur. He’s been featured in USA Today, Entrepreneur Magazine, and US News & World Report.

Kurt has also taught at Stanford, Emory, and Georgia Tech and is the managing partner of marketSQUARE Worldwide, an innovation consultancy. He graduated from The College of William & Mary with high honors and earned his MBA at the Duke University Fuqua School of Business.

Lindsey Dunn Burgstahler serves as Vice President, Content and Education for AHA Health Forum, an American Hospital Association (AHA) company. In this role, she is responsible for creating and executing the association’s executive education strategy for the healthcare field.

Prior to joining the AHA, Lindsey was the Director of Editorial Content and Editor in Chief of Becker’s Hospital Review. In this role, she helped grow Becker’s Hospital Review, a business trade publication for C-suite hospital executives, from its early beginnings to a nationally recognized healthcare trade magazine.

Before joining Becker’s Healthcare, Lindsey held roles in integrated marketing at Edelman, a public relations firm, and Starcom, a media buying agency, working on national client accounts including Suzuki, Sharp, E*Trade and Shell.

She also previously was an instructor of public speaking at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has taught organizational communication at the college level.

Lindsey holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
